From the north (Exton), drive south on Pottstown Pike, until you come to West Chester (past the golf course on your right). The first light is Marshall Street. Turn left on Marshall, then immediately right into the gymnasium parking lot.

From Route 202 (south or north), take the Paoli Pike exit into West Chester (not the Paoli Exit, that's much further north!!), and turn right at the stoplight at the end of the exit. Drive into the center of West Chester (roughly a 1.5 miles), then turn north on High Street -- at the Iron Hill Brew Pub. Follow High Street north for several blocks until you will see gymnasium on your right at a stoplight. That's Marshall Street. Turn right on Marshall Street, then immediately right into the parking lot.

Please note that it is impossible to approach West Chester from the west. This is due to a space/time singularity located somewhere between West Chester and Marshallton. Try this at your own peril.

The Chester County Courthouse is located in the very center of West Chester -- at the intersection of High and Market Streets.

On-street parking is free on weekends, and there's a large parking garage (also free on weekends) located on High Street, just south of Market.

The basketball court in question is located on Copeland School Road in the Copeland School Park -- directly across the street from the East Bradford Municipal Buildings. (Copeland School Road is the first left off of Route 322 just west of the Route 322 bypass towards Downingtown.)

Please note that this court is a beautiful place to learn to unicycle, due to the height of its perimeter fence and we can recommend it for your own unicycling practice -- even when there's no "official" THJ session taking place. But please bring gloves to wear while you're riding!! The turned-back steel at top of the fence can snag your hands and leave a nasty cut. (Trust me on this one!!)

The directions given below start you from the parking lot of the West Chester Friends School gymnasium:

1. From the School gym parking lot, turn left onto Marshall Street.

2. Follow Marshall across High Street and continue to the "T" at N. Brandywine. Turk left onto N. Brandywine.

3. Follow N. Brandywine to its "T," and turn right onto Lafayette.

4. Follow Larayette around onto Everhart Avenue, which ends at a stoplight -- which is Route 322.

5. Turn right onto 322 -- towards Downingtown.

6. Stay on 322 past the Bradford Plaza and -- a bit later -- the Acme. Go straight through the stoplight at the 322 bypass.

7. The first right turn after the stoplight is Copeland School Road, which is a right turn. This road winds around a bit, but takes you to the court, which will be on your right.

Total distance from the parking lot to the court is roughly 2 or 3 miles.
